The Heart Behind The Start

I’m Marisol—a grateful Puerto Rican woman shaped by sisterhood, refined by fire, and anchored in faith.

I come from a long line of strong women—mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins—who carried more than they should’ve, often in silence. Witnessing their strength molded and shaped me. It stayed with me, and so did the lesson: we can’t always pour out without being poured into.

SolyRey was, in part born, from that truth.

SolyRey is for women who’ve held it all together for everything and everyone else—and are ready to take a pause moment. Women longing for beauty, freedom, laughter, and places that spark wonder.

SolyRey is everything I cherish: God, bonding, culture, thrill, and unapologetic joy. A space to play, to pray, and to reconnect—with yourself, the world, and of course —God!

And the name?

Sol, a nod to me—Marisol. And Rey, because I wouldn’t be here without my King. For others, it may simply mean sun and king, and that’s beautiful too. But for me, it’s a promise and a partnership: me and Him—through and through.
